»Social Concerns Ministry

The ministry of Social Concerns first attempts to enhance the consciousness of our parish community to the inherent dignity of each person and the needs of others around us, then works to facilitate and coordinate efforts of our parishioners in response to those needs. Social Concerns ministries include: food drives, clothing drives, gift drives for children and the elderly, fund raising for charitable organizations such as Catholic Charities, and outreach services such as feeding the hungry at St. Mary's Food Kitchen and Hope Faith Ministries. Social Concerns takes an active role in supporting the homeless through the Hillcrest Ministries and Johnson County Interfaith Hospitality Network programs. For more information, please contact Steve Ehart 913-685-0768.
