»Bereavement

A monthly support group is offered to those having experienced the death of someone close. The group meets the 2nd Saturday of each month beginning with the 8:30 a.m. Memorial Mass followed by a meeting from 9-10:30 a.m. Bi-monthly a guest speaker addresses the group on grief topics. The alternating months a group facilitator leads a group discussion working with the bereaved. Members of the ministry make visitations and have supportive materials to distribute. For more information, please contact Dennis and Karen Schemmel, 913-897-5079.

FUNERAL DINNERS - Parishioners support the families having experienced the death of a loved one by providing a meal following the funeral services. Volunteers bring in food and supplies to serve the families at this difficult time. For more information, please contact the Parish Office at 913-681-3348.
