Eucharistic ministers assist in distributing Holy Communion
at Sunday Masses and special celebrations. Eucharistic ministers
must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and be
actively practicing their faith at Church of the Ascension.
Training is required. Eucharistic ministers are regularly
scheduled with opportunities to volunteer for holy days
and other celebrations.

Eucharistic Ministry to St. Luke's South Hospital
distribute Holy Communion to Catholics under hospital care.
Training is required. Ministers to the ill must have received
the Sacrament of Confirmation and must be actively practicing
their faith.
Eucharistic Ministry to the Homebound distribute
Holy Communion to parishioners in the homes of homebound
parishioners as needed. Training required. Ministers to
the homebound must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation
and be actively practicing their faith.
