»Website Guidelines

The website of the Church of the Ascension is designed for the use of parishioners and those interested in joining our community. As such we are vigilant to insure that the information on this site is both accurate and timely. This requires the following guidelines:

1. Only the chairperson (or their designated person) or leader of the named organization, ministry or group is authorized to submit changes to the information contained on the website.

2. All information should be submitted to : Office@kcascension.org at least one week in advance of its need to be posted.

3. All information should be submitted in a Word document and should contain the name of the group, the submitters name and a phone contact.

4. Children's pictures and names are HIGHLY recommended to NOT be submitted for inclusion on the website. When names of children are included please use only their first initial and last name (e.g. M. Jones). Pictures of individual children are generally not acceptable. If pictures with names are to be included, please take group pictures.

5. Adults should be aware of the fact that their names will appear on this website. If any adult is uncomfortable with having his/her name on the website, please contact your organizations chairperson or the Parish office.

6. All information submitted should be proofread prior to submission. All appropriate trademarks, copyright and other legal requirements are the responsibility of the submitting group.

7. Groups may create their own websites and have a link included from the parish website with the understanding that the parish website is the sole determiner of the appropriateness of any links and has ultimate right to reject any links requested. All websites linked off of the parish website are required to have a return link back to the parish website.

8. All information on this site is copyrighted and may not be reused in any way without written permission.

9. Any group interested in having an informational page on the website is welcome to submit such a request for review.

10. Any further questions please contact Dan Spencer at: dspencer@sagegroupinc.com
