Throughout the year, Church of the
Ascension strives to provide both social and spiritually oriented
activities of a special nature that encourage all of us to come
together as community.
These events range from the
enormously successful Mardi Gras evening to the contemplative Lenten
services.
While many of these activities are
specifically developed and held here at the parish, there are those
that are archdiocese-wide events such as Men Under Construction-an
annual men's conference-which are held elsewhere.
Regardless of their location
parishioners are encouraged to participate in these events to better
grow together as a parish community.
